Simon Page
Simon Page is an artist, teacher and designer who makes drawings and paintings exploring themes of place, identity and landscape. Recent work has emerged from coming to terms with living in a post-pandemic, climate crisis era and the existential challenge that this new context presents. He was shortlisted for the 2023 Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize. His work is held in many private and corporate collections, he has exhibited in group shows including at The RA, Mall Galleries, and solo shows most recently at Daniel Crouch Rare Books. This year he took part in the exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Wales Coast Path, a collaboration between artists and poets that was shown at The Norwegian Church, Cardiff and at The National Maritime Museum Swansea. He studied at Colchester Institute and Homerton College, Cambridge. He has taught Art throughout his career, most recently as Head of Painting at Harrow School. He is based in Suffolk and London, and roaming far and wide.
